In the article are analysed the pre-conditions, process and consequences of administrative-territory reform in Poland, from the point of view its use in Ukrainian realities. An author considers that taking into account experience of Poland, administrative-territory reformation foresees the long preparatory process with scientific researches and public listening, political will of state authority and use of considerable financial resources
