| Abstract: | Adamovych S. Viacheslav Chornovil – the intellectual, politician, creator of the newest Ukrainian statehood. The article analyzes the figure of V. Chornovil as a highly intellectual person, a fighter against the Soviet repressive regime, the organizer and leader of the People’s Movement of Ukraine, the creator of the newest Ukrainian statehood. The author substantiates that the activity of the statesman was based on national-democratic ideological principles and served as the example of high moral behavior. |
