dc.description.abstract	The characteristics and specifics of the regional policy of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland in the context of central and regional public authorities relations are researched in this article. The author reveals the positive aspects of Polish modernization transformations for the sake of their subsequent adaptation to the Ukrainian reality.
