dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to analyze the modernist poetics of Ivan Franko. It focuses on the elements of Symbolism, Expressionism, and Surrealism in the artistic legacy of the writer. Franko employed a unique synthetic method combining the conceptual achievements of Modernism with the ideological and aesthetic postulates of other literary trends. The study highlights the importance of Franko’s contribution to the development of the aesthetic system of Modernism in the context of his epoch, of the national and world literary processes. | uk_UA |
