dc.description.abstract	A collection of the essays written by Ivan Monolatii is focused on the understudied and disputable aspects of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1914-1923, mainly on how Western Ukrainian statehood was established and developed in 1918-1919, as well as some specific issues of the political history of the Western Ukrainian National Republic (ZUNR) in 1918-1923. By applying the theories of randomness introduced by scientists in the 20th – early 21st centuries, the author puts forward an approach to the events of the early 20th century Ukrainian history, which is completely different to what has been suggested before.	uk_UA
